Jonah Lock Screen

This week we feature a Jonah Lock Screen in honor of Jonah's Fast which is this Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.I take these lock screens so seriously, ladies and gents, that I went on location to the belly of the whale to capture the experience for this week's verse! Hehehe...Although Jonah's Fast can be painful (really? a three day vegan fast within sight of Lent?? Come onnnnn), I actually really love this fast. I don't like calling it the fast of Jonah though; I prefer to call it the Fast of Ninevah. But I thought you'd appreciate me NOT putting pictures of sackcloth and dust.And I don't know about you, but life takes me to the belly of the whale--to the depths of the pit--now and then. It strengthens me to know that the Lord always hears me, that when I fall in, He lifts me out.I have a great post about living the Fast of  Jonah with your children, a reminder of what a first degree fast looks like (no animal products, no seafood), and a nice little calendar of the fast schedule for this year.Enjoy this Jonah Lock Screen and have a blessed Jonah's Fast!
