A Reminder to Let Go
In order to rise, you must leave the ground. In order to grow spiritually, you must untie yourself from this world.
It's the natural order of things.
One day, you left your mother's womb--and you grew.
You left your mother's embrace to attend school--and you grew.
You left your familiar haunts to go to college--and you grew.
You left your father's house to get married--and you grew.
What is tying you to this world ?What is keeping you from growing closer to God?
For some people, it's possessions. Such is the case for the rich young man who came to Christ asking for salvation.
For some people, it's a toxic friendship.
For some people, it's a bad habit.
What do you have to let go of in order to rise--in holiness, in your prayer life, in your communion with God?
Consider. Pray. And let go.
